In the summer of 2015, Bondeno was founded to bring together 5 generations of traditional Italian bespoke shoemaking craftsmanship that dates back to 1908, with modern CAD/CAM technology.

We design, engineer, and create biomechanically friendly footwear that is precisely tailored to each customer's unique foot shape and dimensions. This is achieved in part through the help of a medical-grade foot impression system developed and manufactured by Smithers Bio-Medical Systems in Kent, Ohio. We designed our precise foot shape acquisition process to be enjoyed from the comfort of your home. In addition to capturing an accurate replica of each foot 2 inches above the ankle bones, we incorporate the client's specific fitting needs, such as desired snugness in different areas of each foot, to ensure every pair delivers the ideal level of comfort and support across the entire shoe or boot.

We are headquartered in New York City, in Midtown Manhattan inside the MetLife Building, above Grand Central Station.

To this day, our bespoke footwear continues to be crafted one pair at a time, from beginning to end, by our master craftsmen in Italy.
